The WDL-GRQ-600 Crucible Melting Furnace is a high-performance industrial furnace designed for melting ferrous metals and low-melting-point alloys with superior precision and reliability. Engineered with advanced heating technology, energy efficiency, and robust structural design, this furnace ensures optimal performance for foundries and metalworking industries seeking consistent melting quality and long service life.


1. Advanced Structural Design

The melting furnace is composed of three primary sections: the furnace body, electrical heating, and the control system.

  • Furnace Shell: The outer shell is fabricated from durable steel plates and sectional steel, forming a strong, round-column structure with precision welding for maximum stability.

  • Lining: The side wall incorporates silicate aluminum fiber blocks, superlight refractory bricks (0.6g/cm³), and vermiculite powder filling, providing excellent insulation and energy conservation. The heating elements use high-resistance OCr27A17MO2 alloy wires for durability and even heat distribution. The furnace bottom is made from once-forming cast material, ensuring high strength and long lifespan.

  • Graphite Crucible: The furnace uses a graphite crucible, known for its longevity—lasting over six months under standard operating conditions.


2. Precision Heating and Control System

The electrical control system adopts PID control with thyristor-based power regulation. This setup allows precise control of the output current through phase angle adjustment. Equipped with a Taiwan-made temperature controller, electronic power regulator, relay, and contactor, the system ensures ±3℃ temperature accuracy.
Safety features include automatic shutdown in case of temperature over-limit or current abnormality, ensuring secure operation. The thermal couplings (two units) measure both hearth atmosphere and molten metal temperature, providing real-time monitoring.
