Project Background and Core Process Requirements

WONDERY recently completed the manufacturing and delivery of a WDL-HL-100-6 aluminum alloy solution and quenching furnace. Aluminum alloy heat treatment is highly sensitive to "quenching transfer time" to prevent the precipitation of strengthening phases. The client’s core requirement was to ensure workpieces move from the heating chamber to the quenching tank rapidly while maintaining precise temperature uniformity within the furnace.

Technical Solutions and Parameterized Evidence

1. Millisecond-Response Rapid Quenching System

To guarantee the physical properties of aluminum alloys, WONDERY optimized the lifting and dropping mechanisms:

  • Transfer Speed: Utilizing a dual-speed winch with variable frequency control, the time from the workpiece leaving the furnace to being fully submerged in the quenching medium is controlled within <15 seconds.

  • Transmission Configuration: Equipped with a Shanghai Shenwei dual-speed winch and Jiangsu Yifan reducer to ensure smooth lifting, lowering, and accurate positioning.

2. Precision Temperature Uniformity (Full-Zone Circulation)

The solution treatment window for aluminum alloys is narrow; even minor fluctuations impact the pass rate:

  • Rated Power: 100kW (1-100% adjustable), controlled by a Japanese Shimaden SR13 intelligent programmable meter.

  • Circulation System: A high-volume centrifugal fan at the furnace top, paired with 304 stainless steel air guides, ensures temperature field uniformity within ±5 ℃.

  • Monitoring & Recording: Integrates a paperless recorder for real-time process curve storage, featuring dual control with over-temperature audio-visual alarms.

3. Composite Fiber Lining and Sealing Technology

  • Insulation Material: The lining is constructed entirely from Shandong Luyang high-alumina silicate fiber modules, pre-compressed to a density of ≥230 kg/m³.

  • Bottom Sealing: The bottom door is driven by an electric pusher with a sand-seal or soft-seal structure, ensuring the chamber is hermetically sealed during the heating phase to minimize heat loss.

4. Safety and Interlock Control

  • Mechanical Interlocks: Full automated interlock protection is established between the heating elements, fan, and door movements. The dropping mechanism cannot initiate unless the door is fully open, and the door cannot close while the mechanism is in motion.

  • Effective Working Dimensions: Ø 1200 × 1500 mm.

  • Rated Temperature: 650 ℃.
